Movement
Movement in a photograph refers to photographing an object in motion. When I look at professional photographer's photos of movement, sometime, they are able to get these beautiful movement blur lines that follow the motion. Other times, they catch the moving object in mid-movement with no blur at all. All of my movement photos are of my children because they are moving all of the time! The header photo of this page is my youngest son, Charlie, running at the playground. The first showcased image is of my daughter, Savannah, jumping of the bridge into the river (it is VERY deep). There is an image of her jumping off of this same bridge from a different angle on the “focal point/emphasis” page. In this image of her jumping on this movement page, I caught her in mid-fall as she is going down towards the water. The next image is of my daughter and a friend swinging in a tire swing. There is a small amount of movement blur in this photograph. Next, there is a photograph of my daughter in mid-cartwheel. The last photo is of my son, Charlie, being chased by his cousin, Asher.
