Qualitative Data
At the end of my workshop, attendees will be given a Google Forms questionnaire. There will be multiple open-ended questions for the attendee to answer in regards to the content of the workshop, the timing of the workshop, the flow of the workshop, anything they particularly enjoyed about the workshop, and anything they would want to improve about the workshop. Click here to view the sample questionnaire, which contains both qualitative and quantitative data questions.
Quantitative Data
On the same Google Form questionnaire that holds the qualitative data, I will also have several quantitative data questions. There will be some scaled answer questions and multiple choice questions that attendees can answer about their experience at my workshop as well as the knowledge they gained from the workshop. Click here to view the sample questionnaire, which contains both qualitative and quantitative data questions.

Explanation
Once the data is collected, the quantitative data will be analyzed so that I can get an overall view of how the respondents felt about the workshop. By doing this, I can get an overall sense of the opinions of the workshop and the materials presented within the workshop. With the qualitative data, I will actually read through each individual answer to see the deeper explanations of why the attendees felt the way they did about the workshop. This is where I can really understand how to improve my workshop for the next time. Seeing thorough suggestions of how to improve and commendations on what worked about my workshop will help me to make any necessary changes and keep in place the parts of the workshop that worked and were well-received.
