Electronic Materials
The first two electronic materials are the Google Slides Presentation and the Photo Story about Pet Adoption. These are both used at the beginning of the workshop to show the difference in engagement between a Slides presentation and a Photo Story. Below are links to both of these items:

The third electronic material that I’ll be using is a brief photo story that introduces my workshop and gives a brief overview of why we should be using photo stories to engage our students. A link to this photo story is below:

The fourth electronic material that I’ll be presenting is a sample of what the teachers’ photo stories should look like. Below is a sample Sautee Nacoochee Community Association promo Video.

Online/Web-Based Materials
The first online materials that I’ll be using are the elements and principles of photography sections of my Weebly site for this class. I’m using the Weebly website to teach the elements and principles of photography rather than creating a PowerPoint to teach these concepts. I’ll go through page by page and discuss each element and principle and show examples from my pages. Below are the links for each of the pages I am using from my Weebly website:

The second online material that I’ll be using is the photo story sample website by Kenneth Kobre. This will be used as a resource for the teachers to view to reference different types of photo stories. They can reference this as they are creating their own photo stories to get direction and see how music or voiceover is used, etc. Below is a link for this photo story website:

The third online material that I’ll be using is Kizoa. This is a web-based application that the teachers will use to create their photo stories. Below is the link for Kizoa.

The fourth online material that I’ll be using is the Georgia Standards website. Teachers will use this website to view their grade level standards and determine which standards they could use photo stories in the classroom. Below is the link for the Georgia Standards.

The fifth online material that I’ll be using is the Sautee Nacoochee Community Association (SNCA) website. Teachers will use this website to research the Sautee Nacoochee Community Center, which is what their photo stories will promo. The SNCA website link is below.

The sixth online material that I’ll be sharing with my group of teachers is information about creative commons licensing with music. Since the teachers will be creating their own photo stories, they’ll need to add music to those stories. Kizoa does have some built in music that has already been approved with creative commons licensing, but if teachers want to upload their own music, they need to know how to do so. Below is the website to find some creative commons licensed music:

Other Resources
The material of my choice that I’ll be using in my workshop is a sample science project created by a third grade student. This is just to show the teachers and example of how students, even at a young age, are capable of creating exciting photo stories. Below is a link for a photo story project made by two third grade students:

Another artifact that I’ll be providing is a Google Slides Presentation that the teachers will create to show me that they understand the elements and principles of photography. This will be a simple presentation with one photo on each slide. Each photo will be labeled with the element or principle that it exudes. Below is a link to a sample Google Slide Presentation so that you can get an idea what each teacher’s assignment should look like when they turn it in.
