fill the frame
Filling the frame in photography is quite literal as the photographer actually fills the frame of the image almost entirely with the subject of the image. I like to use “fill the frame” when I take pictures of my family because I am able to really focus on their faces. The header for this page is an image of our dog, Lulu, and the entire frame is filled with her face. The first showcase photograph is of my daughter, Savannah. She woke up with her crazy bed-head, and I thought she looked beautiful, so I snapped a picture of her filling the entire frame of the photograph. The second photograph is of my youngest son, Charlie. He had a concerned look on his face and didn’t exactly want to be photographed, but I was able to get a filled-frame photo anyway. The third photograph is of our dog, Lulu, and she almost looks like she was modeling for this “fill the frame” photograph. The last image is of my son, Nolan, sitting in a chair outside, filling the frame of my camera.
